<p>Der <b>K-Index</b> <i>K</i> steht für <b>Konvektions-Index</b> (auch <b>Georges Index</b> genannt) und ist ein <a href="Dimensionslose_Gr%C3%B6%C3%9Fe" title="Dimensionslose Größe">Wert</a> (Maß) für die <a href="Wahrscheinlichkeit" title="Wahrscheinlichkeit">Wahrscheinlichkeit</a> bzw. das Potenzial von <a href="Schauer" title="Schauer">Schauern</a> und <a href="Gewitter" title="Gewitter">Gewittern</a>. Er richtet sich nach der Temperatur, dem <a href="Taupunkt" title="Taupunkt">Taupunkt</a> und der <a href="Luftfeuchtigkeit" title="Luftfeuchtigkeit">Luftfeuchtigkeit</a>.
